Recently I posted the コーチ 財布 thread "CPU Overheating PLEASE Help!" and TKD2 recommended that I try touching my heatsink to see if it was a misread. I wasn't sure if he was joking around or not, but I did it anyway in desperation. Now, my question is what part of the heatsink would be the temperature of the reading? It says my CPU is running at about 80C and I felt all around the heatsink and even on the edges of the CPU but it wasn't any hotter than my rope lights I have in my dorm room, which if I had to take a guess is about 20C25C. I'm hoping it was just a misreading.

If it was the misreading, where in BIOS must i disable the computer shutting down when it states it too hot?

Always a good idea to double check temps and you did not say how you did that. I am enclosing a few programs that are cost-free downloads. They are excellent temp check programs. Give them a whirl after which you can tell us what the temps are in case you are concerned and we can go following that:

Speedfan will tell you the temperatures and much more. I have MBM5 already that is certainly another reason why There's no doubt that it's a misreading. See, when I start コーチ メンズ it up, the temperature will read something like 45C, but the BIOS says it's around 80C. Once I have the computer on for a while, it will jump back and forth between the low temperature and the high temperature, and then finally just stay at the high temperature. I've also seen the BIOS reading do this when I'm looking at some settings. I would go read the temperature and it would read something low like 45C but then jump up to 80ish once I watch it for a second. I don't really know what this means. www.coachsekihin.com

About these temperature looking at programs, I don't really have the knowledge those would help by using misreadings. Since there would be singular sensor reading the temperature belonging to the CPU, wouldn't it just show that temperature? I mean, installing a program can not put another sensor on your motherboard.

I never did consider the heatsink off and put it back on since I was having the overheating problems before I aquired this other heatsink, and I doubt equally heatsink were misaligned, so I'm leaving of which as my very very last resort. It's a big pain to accomplish anyway because my instance is so small in addition to my heatsink is so big, I have to take the electricity supply out to rise off. Although I see what you're saying that the heatsink wouldn't be the temperature from the CPU reading if it turned out misaligned, but that's why Post also put my kids finger under the heatsink and touched the sting of the processor, which also didn't sense hot. I'm not sure where many of the heat is though, I mean it may all be right at the center and would be extremely hard to feel the temperature.

I'll try the Speedfan program while i get home this weekend since I lack the internet on MY computer today. Paramount Pictures kind associated with emailed my school because I used to be downloading Coach Carter illegally, so I lost my internet for week. Hopefully the download portion of the Asus site might be working by the time I get home given it gives me a runtime error right now.

Thanks again for many of the help, I hope to perceive more from you men. www.coachsekihin.com

The reason TKD2 asked that you touch the heatsink was because typically of thumb if the heatsink is hot to be able to touch then the CPU may be too hot. As for where the tmeperature reading is via it depends on the place that the thermal diode is on your mobo. Usually they are only under the CPU, in the middle in the socket.

My heatsink has it's own thermal diode that you could place on the CPU oneself, this is used that will regulate the fan pace, I used thermal tape to stick it to the bottom of the CPU.

A lot of people say for you to shouldn't use コーチ 財布 your BIOS with regard to temperature readings because it can be horribly inaccurate, most of the time period a BIOS update will sort this concern out. I've heard of many people who updated their BIOS and also have the readings drop by simply 1020C.
