Borrelli launched his career at Stanford being an assistant coach in 07, after having been linked with Central Michigan University since both a wrestler and also coach. The native of Mt. Pleasant, Mich. was a MidAmerican Conference (MAC) champ in addition to twotime NCAA qualifier with the Chippewas. After graduating from CMU within 2006, Borrelli served one year as an assistant at his alma mater before maneuvering to California.
